I was born on the International Women’s Day. I learned poetry, photography, and pain. I read poetry in buildings now only composed of rubble. They called it “Breaking News” on phones and big screens. I learned to photograph in incredibly narrow streets, but those streets fit the dreams of two million people. .غ ز ة I felt pain, oh Lord, in this city called Gaza. This name of three letters made me an artist: It made me transform life into a photograph.
