The fifth session focuses on editing and shaping the portrait. Through individual tutorials and group critiques, participants will work on the structure, pacing and rhythm of their films, while exploring how image and sound can interact to create meaning, atmosphere and perspective.

Participants will review and refine their existing material, making decisions about what to keep, what to leave out and how the different elements of their film come together. Where appropriate, they will also be encouraged to experiment with alternative approaches to portrait-making, allowing the editing process to open up new possibilities for the work.

The session is dedicated to developing each film towards its final form, while creating space for collective reflection, feedback and exchange.
