We were kindly invited by Cinematek to pick a film to screen from their archive. Therefore we are excited to announce that this SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER we will gather to watch and discuss Abbas Kiarostami’s THE REPORT (or Gozaresh) (1977, 112’, Iran).
We also have the opportunity to have a tour of Cinematek’s museum and archives prior to the screening and there will be a panel discussion afterwards with journalist & filmmaker Rola Zamzameh, filmmaker Maryam K. Hedayat & film scholar Gawan Fagard. The discussion will take a closer look at the work of Kiarostami within the wider context of the Iranian social and political sphere.
