We are gathering to watch In the Palm of My Hand, a short movie made in collaboration with members of Cinemaximiliaan & Jules Mathôt. This film was made during the course of four film workshops led by Jules Mathôt as part of his Educational Masters at KASK from Sept – Oct 2023. And this will be the premiere of the result!

A short film created by Frank, Abdel, Sulaiman, Rola, Snow, Khairullah, Sahel, Dialito, Özlem, Okkie, Lubnan, Ece, Yüksel, Leyna, Browndon, Yvan, Daniel, Jatta, Basiru, Ibrahima, Thierry, Patric, Mousa, Ali, Amara, Ashour, Zekruddin, Mohamed, Olena, Majdi, Emma, Áxil, Alice, with the support of Wannes, Julie, Pol, Liesje, Mattias & Lize.

During September and October of 2023 filmlovers of the Cinemaximiliaan community were invited for a series of workshops lead by filmmaker Jules Mathôt. The group explored interview techniques, one-shot stories, storyboarding and a lot more. One collective theme was maintained during all four workshops: our dreams, and how they can reflect our pasts and futures. ”In the Palm of My Hand” is the result of these four workshops.
